Event description:
Ethan Angelica and Leigh Ellen Caudill (our resident Affordable Actor Living experts) are back to the AE Caucus scene, once again bringing with them all you’d ever need to know about finding affordable housing in NYC: the coveted 80/20 units in luxury buildings. We all know rents in this city are as high as the skyscrapers, but there are some hidden gems out there (many less than $600/month!) if you know where to look, stay organized, and keep prepared. Join us on October 21st at 7:30pm for an in-depth 90-minute workshop and schmoozefest. You’ll walk away with a packet full of helpful handouts, check lists, directory of useful websites, labels to get you started, and more. Plus you’ll get a chance to connect with fellow actors trying to make it work in this city.
Actors’ Embassy members can attend this, as with all Caucus events, for free by reserving a member ticket. Existing members can find the their access code here. A new membership may be purchased on this event page, as well as $15 non-member tickets.
