Testimonials

“Michael Roderick is a super connector. His practical insights reshuffled my business card deck and made me appreciate the dynamics to strategic relationship building. My colleagues and I are incorporating Michael’s tips and having fun as we spin our digital Rolodex.”

Steven Beer, Franklin, Weinrib, Rudell & Vassallo, P.C.

“Michael has a series of great ideas when it comes to business communication. Using his strategies for prepping emails and crafting introductions, I save lots of time every week and have the opportunity to focus more on being productive in my business. I’ve also improved my networking skills and really enjoy building relationships and helping other people find success through networking!”

Emily Louick, Digital Media Professional

“As a young entrepreneur in Silicon Alley, [Small Pond’s] help has been invaluable. Michael gave my business partner the opportunity to deliver the keynote at the 2013 ConnectorCon, and the number of positive relationships (both professional and personal) that developed as a result of our attending was nothing short of amazing! Michael is clearly a busy guy, but he’s always showed a genuine interest in empowering me in the multiple projects I’ve been a part of. I’d recommend [Small Pond’s] services without reservation.”

Dan Zauderer, Pitch-Works

“Before meeting with Michael Roderick, my career was all over the place. Michael taught me how to organize and maximize my time. Together we developed an effective plan to move forward. With his help, I was able to focus my efforts on what was actually working, and, conversely, eliminate all of the stuff that wasn’t working. He gave me new insight on how to market my products – key things that I had not considered. I now have tangible goals I can work towards, and my career feels specific and clear again.”

Chris Beier, Digital Media Producer

“I found working with Michael Roderick to be both exciting and inspiring. [He] led a fundraising workshop for an eclectic group of Arts to Grow’s leadership that included board members, pro-bono consultants, and fundraising committee members. His approach was effective, engaging and very informative. Since the workshop, I have received outstanding feedback from our team who left inspired and more confident of their next action steps!”

Mallory King, Founder/Executive Director, Arts to Grow

“PLAE has helped me turn my thoughts into actions. By having a small group to bounce ideas off of and with a moderator who has been in the business to tell you what to expect and how to realize your dreams is invaluable. Michael brings in the top people from around NYC who are there to tell us what we need to do to make it in this tough economy and does so in a way that is accessible.”

Eileen Little, aerial artist

“Michael has greatly increased the systemization and profitability of my business. He keeps me accountable and encourages me to stay true to the passion that made me entrepreneurial in the first place. His ability to build and utilize a personal network is unparalleled and inspirational!”

Megan Densmore, Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor

“After signing up for 5 hour-long meetings, Michael’s consulting for On the Square has been invaluable. We have completely re-organized and re-structured our business and created a solid forward moving plan for the future. His wealth of knowledge and network are vast. He also has made us see that our goals and dreams are possible to achieve, as long as we have plan to follow! We are signing up for more sessions and look forward to continuing with him!”
